Wellington's Rifles
I haven't posted gaming news for awhile, so here's a few pictures of my Napoleonic British Rifles. It has been a long time since I've put paint to lead, as we have been going throuugh house reconstruction. I'm eager to finish more of these guys and finish painting French Voltigeurs and Line troops, so that Cpt. Sharpe, Sgt. Harper, and crew can save England from the despotic French!

Didn't realise you got 'Sharpe' over there...on 'cable'?
Are they really lead? I don't think you can buy real lead figurines over here anymore, but I could be wrong on that.
You are correct. I don't think they are lead, but we still call them "lead" soldiers.
(My dad tells stories of melting lead in his basement and pooring it into soldier molds when he was a boy!)
I've read all the Sharpe novels and the series was on PBS here for a while. My wonderful wife gave me the DVD set for Christmas.
