Are there Lutherans in Australia?
Sure there are, about 250 000 of us (if only we all went to church!). Not great numbers in US terms, but in a country of 22 000 000 people it's not an insignificant either.
Lutherans have been here since 1838so we are well and truly an Australian church. We also have a significant number of indigenous Australian members in central Australia and elsewhere, in fact the largest numbers of any historically Protestant church here, thanks to God's blessing on the work of 19th & 20th century missionaries.

Thank you for the information. I've used several LCA resources in my ministry and found them to be very good. An area pastor here (semi-retired at the time) connected with one of your district presidents and did several interims in your fair country.
